Comparison table of PET-tape and its analogues

The first column represents the comparable tapes, the second and third columns represent tapes’ width and thickness correspondingly. The fourth and fifth columns represent the breaking force and relative elongation data. The data given in these columns demonstrate that nominal sizes of Krepp PET-tape outperform its analogues.

Columns six and seven contain the data on tapes’ weight per a linear kilometer and the number of linear meters per a ton of product output. The data given in these columns demonstrate that PET-tape of the same length has 3 times as less weight than its analogues which provides an additional saving of transport costs.

Column 8 represents prices per one ton of tape. Prices of metal tape manufactured in Russia were taken from the pricelists of leading manufacturers of metal tape in Ural and Siberian regions.

Prices of Krepp PET-tape are given on the basis of 1400 RUR exclusive of VAT per a spool of tape weighing 24 kg. Tape’s length in a spool depends on the nominal size. Column 9 represents the price per a linear kilometre of tape based on the data given in columns 6 through 8. As is clear from calculation price of one linear metre of Krepp PET-tape is 1.5-2 times as less than those of metal analogues. This is the main factor for financial saving.

Column 10 contains data on annual saving of using PET-tape instead of metal tape of the corresponding nominal size consumed in the amount of one ton per month.
